We are seeking a skilled Pipe Layer to join our Texas Division in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing and maintaining critical water and sewer infrastructure. Your day-to-day work involves laying ductile water lines and PVC sewer pipes, ensuring precise grading for optimal flow, and executing complex installations including mechanical joints, air release valves, and inline valves.
You will plan pipe installations and repairs according to strict specifications, utilizing levels and lasers to calculate and adjust grades. The role requires hands-on fabrication, including cutting, threading, and welding pipes, as well as locating existing infrastructure through potholing and excavation. You will also be responsible for grouting manholes, conducting hydrostatic pressure tests, and securing pipes to structures. This position demands adaptability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, from extreme heat to cold, while navigating various construction site environments safely.
