As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for seasoned pilots and those with military training who seek an exciting, rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will perform air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
The position offers a streamlined application process for full-time security-based opportunities. While duty locations are determined by operational and mission requirements, you will be part of a dynamic team operating across the Southeast, Southwest, and Caribbean regions, as well as at National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC). The role demands the ability to evaluate information rapidly and make judicious decisions during in-flight operations in all environments, including night, poor weather, and low altitudes.
