As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a pilot in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career that combines professional flying with the stability and benefits of federal service. You will work alongside a team of experts to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land, air, and sea. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a three-part assessment. Upon successful completion of this assessment, you will receive a final offer letter detailing your duty location. Please note that duty locations are assigned based on operational requirements, mission needs, and critical agency hiring needs. You must be willing to work at any location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
