As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This is a security-based role designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability.
You will work alongside seasoned pilots and military-trained professionals to conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities. Your day-to-day mission involves monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. Whether operating land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels, you will be at the forefront of securing the nation's borders.

Duty locations are assigned based on operational requirements, mission needs, and critical agency hiring needs. Successful candidates must be willing to work at any duty location within the region they select. Regions include:
A specific duty location will be offered after successfully completing a three-part assessment. The final offer letter may include any geographic location within the Southwest Border Region, Southeast Border Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) locations.
