About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations to support the detection and apprehension of threats. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking a rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting for full-time security-based opportunities. We are particularly interested in seasoned pilots and those with military training. This is a streamlined opportunity to make your move into a high-impact federal law enforcement position.

Duty Locations
Duty locations are assigned based on operational requirements, mission needs, and critical agency hiring needs. Successful candidates must be willing to work at any duty location within the region they select. Regions include:
- Southeast Region: Homestead, FL and CAMB (Aguadilla, PR).
- Southwest Region: Tucson and Yuma, AZ; San Diego, CA; El Paso, Laredo, and McAllen, TX.
- NASOC UAS Locations: Sierra Vista, AZ; San Angelo, TX.
A duty location will be offered after successfully completing a three-part assessment. The final offer letter may include any geographic location within the Southwest Border Region, Southeast Border Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) locations.
