Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. Your primary mission is to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a skilled team of pilots and law enforcement officers, combining your aviation expertise with critical security operations.
You will conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled goods via land, air, and sea. The role involves monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. AMO actively seeks seasoned pilots and those with military training to fill these full-time, security-based positions.

Selection Process: Duty locations are offered based on operational and mission requirements. A specific duty location will be assigned after successfully completing a three-part assessment. You must be willing to work at any location within the region you select, including the Southeast, Southwest, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
