About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in law enforcement where your aviation expertise directly supports national security. You will perform aviation-based operations to patrol, surveil, and pursue smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. This role involves monitoring suspect activities, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or under (or eligible for age waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible); and 250 Pilot-in-Command hours.
