About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. This role is designed for skilled pilots seeking a dynamic environment where they can utilize their expertise to support national security. You will perform critical duties including air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land, air, and sea. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

Hiring Process

Location and Assignment
Duty locations are determined by operational requirements, mission needs, and critical agency hiring needs. Successful candidates must be willing to work at any duty location within the region they select. Assignments may include:
- Southeast Region: Homestead, FL and Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB) locations in Aguadilla, PR.
- Southwest Region: Tucson and Yuma, AZ; San Diego, CA; El Paso, Laredo, and McAllen, TX.
- NASOC UAS Locations: Sierra Vista, AZ and San Angelo, TX.
A specific duty location will be offered after successfully completing a three-part assessment. The final offer letter may include any geographic location within the Southwest Border Region, Southeast Border Region, CAMB, or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) locations.
