As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in law enforcement where you perform aviation-based operations to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled goods via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will monitor the behavior patterns of suspect persons and assets, collect and analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. Assessment and Location: A duty location will be offered after successfully completing a three-part assessment. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) locations.
