As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking a rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
This position offers a streamlined application process for seasoned pilots and those with military training. You will be part of a dynamic environment where your skills directly impact the safety and security of the nation's borders. The role requires flexibility, as duty locations are assigned based on operational and mission requirements within the Southeast, Southwest, and Caribbean regions, as well as National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC).
The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a three-part assessment. Once you successfully complete this assessment, a duty location will be offered from the available regions. The final offer letter may include any geographic location within the Southwest Border Region, Southeast Border Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or NASOC UAS locations.
