Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a skilled pilot and law enforcement officer, performing aviation-based operations to secure the nation's borders. This is a unique opportunity to combine your aviation expertise with a rewarding career in federal law enforcement. You will work alongside a dedicated team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

Candidates must successfully complete a three-part assessment to secure a duty location. Upon selection, you will be required to complete the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC). Failure to successfully complete the required training may result in separation or reassignment.
