Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. Our mission is defined by camaraderie, pride, and a shared purpose to detect, prevent, and interdict terrorists, weapons, and contraband from illegally entering the United States. We offer skilled pilots an opportunity to join a law enforcement career that combines aviation expertise with national security.
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
This position offers a unique blend of high-stakes law enforcement and advanced aviation. Whether operating manned aircraft or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), you will be at the forefront of securing the nation's borders. The role is dynamic, requiring rapid decision-making in varied environments, from night operations and poor weather to low-altitude pursuits over challenging terrain.
