About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations. You will partner with a team to conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day involves monitoring behavior patterns of suspect persons and assets, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. This role is designed for seasoned pilots and those with military training who are eager to apply their skills in a high-stakes, mission-critical environment.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizenship; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or younger (or eligible for age waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; FAA Class 2 medical within 12 months; and 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible).
