As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. Your primary mission is to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This role offers the opportunity to work with an elite team where your skills in surveillance, pursuit, and intelligence analysis are critical to national security.
You will conduct air patrols and monitor suspect activities across land, air, and sea. The position involves collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence while supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. Assessment & Location: A duty location will be offered after successfully completing a three-part assessment. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, including the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.

Age & Veterans: While there is a maximum age requirement for original appointment to a primary law enforcement officer position within DHS, the Commissioner of CBP has approved a temporary increase to age 40 for this specific role.
