As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a key member of a security-based team performing aviation-based law enforcement operations. Your primary mission is the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This role involves conducting air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled goods via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will also monitor suspect behavior patterns, analyze strategic and tactical intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
This is a full-time opportunity designed for seasoned pilots and those with military training. The role offers a dynamic day-to-day environment where you will operate in diverse settings, from the Southeast and Southwest borders to the Caribbean and National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC). Duty locations are assigned based on operational and mission requirements, and successful candidates must be willing to work at any location within their selected region.
