At Mercy Hospital, we are called to serve people when they need it most. Our nurses are essential to that mission, and every unit plays a vital role in the care we provide. We understand the passion nurses bring to their chosen specialties and value that deeply. When caring calls, we answer together.
Our Pediatric & PICU team is dedicated to caring for the smallest patients with the biggest needs. We are a collaborative environment where your voice matters, and you will help shape the future of healthcare through innovation, technology, and compassion. As we grow, you will grow with us.
To ensure we are always ready to meet patient needs, our RNs may occasionally float to other units when census levels or patient care demands require it. Whether you are working on your home unit or supporting another team, you will be surrounded by trusted colleagues, strong leadership, and the Mercy spirit of compassion. This approach helps new and experienced nurses grow while ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care across all units. When floating, you will always receive the support and resources needed to feel confident and prepared.
Care for the smallest patients with the biggest needs—join our Pediatric & PICU team and make every moment count! As a PICU/Peds Nurse, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. You will evaluate and support the care provided by others while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
This role is perfect for a caring, motivated nurse who thrives in a pediatric setting and loves working with children of all ages and acuity levels. You will embrace Mercy's mission, values, and service standards as you make every moment count.
We are committed to supporting your growth, well-being, and success. From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period. We also offer a shift differential pay program to earn more for evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as an RN to BSN Bridge Program with up to $16,000 in tuition assistance.
Join a caring, collaborative team where you can make a difference one child at a time.
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
