About the Team
Banner Medical Group's robust, multispecialty neuroscience group is seeking a Neurologist to join an established team in the East Valley. The team currently includes five physicians and five advanced practice providers, working alongside neurosurgery partners. Banner Health is one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the country, featuring 30 hospitals across six Western states, including University of Arizona academic hospitals. Physicians work in highly integrated and innovative environments with a strong support structure to focus on providing great care.
About the Role
This position focuses on Epilepsy or Headache Medicine within an outpatient-only setting. The role offers a unique opportunity to manage a range of case complexities, supported by readily available outpatient services, EMG, and imaging via Banner Imaging Services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no call requirements unless desired. The position is open for either Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa or Banner Desert Medical Center in Chandler.
Banner Desert Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center serving as a tertiary referral center for the East Valley of metropolitan Phoenix, ranked among the top five hospitals in the region. Banner Baywood Medical Center is a Level III Trauma Center and a nationally recognized Primary Stroke Center, offering timely response and intervention for acute stroke patients.
