We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician to serve as the Director for Observation Services at our Harrisburg location. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency within our observation units. You will act as a liaison between the ED Observation physicians program and various other clinical departments, working closely with nursing and the clinical team to design and implement care protocols that ensure optimal care for hospital patients.
In this position, you will oversee quality measures and outcomes, ensuring that patients receive timely communication and have opportunities to have their questions answered. You will also evaluate and provide feedback to practicing ED Observation physicians regarding their clinical and administrative performance, ensuring all patients meet the quality and patient satisfaction guidelines established by regulatory and payer agencies. Additionally, you will interact with referring physicians to address their concerns and collaborate with other areas of the health system to accomplish system goals.
