The University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks an exceptional physician leader to serve as the Division Chief of the Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology. This senior leadership role is pivotal in advancing the strategic, clinical, educational, and research missions of the Division. The Chief will lead a diverse team of full-time faculty physicians, advanced practice providers, and researchers, fostering excellence in patient care, innovative research, and top-tier education and training programs.
The Division encompasses the Section of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, and Generalist/Hospitalist hybrid physicians. Clinical care is delivered at the Anschutz Medical Campus and throughout the greater Denver Metro community. The Division Chief will maintain a full-time faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level, providing clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology, including inpatient and outpatient services and surgery, while actively participating in the teaching of medical students and residents.
This position requires a dynamic and passionate leader dedicated to overseeing the full spectrum of individual scholarship, collaborative academic leadership, and program development. The role involves successful faculty recruitment and retention, community engagement, and the design of effective high-quality programs within complex organizational structures. The Chief will advocate for women's health and reproductive rights, ensuring access to comprehensive healthcare services for all women.

5-7 years post-residency training or fellowship training. Experience as a clinical educator. Fifteen (15) years of experience in an academic medical center. Strong record of teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with evidence of curriculum development or program leadership.
