We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Hand Surgeon who is eager to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community.
You will deliver high-quality, efficient, and compassionate patient-focused care in the Grand Rapids, MI community. Your day will involve dividing time between the office and the operating room, performing evaluations, surgeries, and post-operative care for hand and upper extremity conditions. You will collaborate with skilled physicians, nurse practitioners, and dedicated support staff within a supportive team environment.
A key component of this role involves working with orthopedic surgery residents in both the office and the OR to provide education in surgical and clinical skills. You will staff a residency clinic on a 1:8 basis and attend weekly grand rounds relevant to hand surgery. Additionally, you will participate in quarterly Morbidity and Mortality conferences and support teaching, mentoring, or research initiatives as relevant.
