We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Whether you are a seasoned professional or at the beginning of your career, this role offers the opportunity to utilize your talents to improve the lives of others in our state-of-the-art rehab gym.
As a PTA, you will work closely with a supervising physical therapist to follow the established plan of care. Your day will involve measuring and recording residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance, while observing and documenting their progress. You will treat residents using a variety of techniques, including stretching and massage, and assist them in carrying out specific exercises. Maintaining a cooperative relationship with the broader healthcare team and ensuring resident confidentiality are central to your daily responsibilities.
