About the Role
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a hands-on role in implementing treatment plans and guiding patients through therapeutic exercises to improve their function and independence. You will collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists, nurses, and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
In this position, you will ensure a safe, clean treatment environment while strictly following infection control protocols. You will also be responsible for educating patients and their families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies. The role offers a dynamic day-to-day experience where you will monitor patient progress, document findings in EMR systems, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.
