About the Role
The Physical Therapist at FullShift Staffing, LLC plays a vital role in helping patients recover from illnesses and injuries. Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation Services, this position focuses on developing personalized treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient mobility and health.
In this role, you will consult with patients to understand their physical conditions and medical history, diagnosing movement dysfunction through observation and active listening. You will coach patients on therapeutic techniques, including massage and exercises, to ease pain and promote healing. The position requires maintaining detailed patient records, tracking goals, and adjusting treatments based on progress and outcomes. Additionally, you will provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers while effectively communicating with the broader health team.
Beyond direct patient care, you will supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students. The role also involves participating in required facility trainings and in-services, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and the code of conduct.
