Pro Rehab is proud to partner with the University of Minnesota to offer a Geriatric Clinical Residency designed for physical therapists who want to grow into confident, highly skilled clinicians in geriatric care. This 12-month, full-time residency blends advanced clinical practice with structured learning, mentorship, and service. You'll work alongside respected geriatric specialists while gaining the depth of experience needed to provide exceptional care for older adults—and to prepare for the Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS) exam.
Pro Rehab exists to enhance lives through high-quality, community-centered therapy services. Clinical development is part of who we are. Our teams are collaborative, supportive, and committed to doing the work well. Our philosophy reflects the belief that each individual is a unique and important person. We help to promote the dignity and self-worth of each person in a safe, friendly, and progressive manner. Pro Rehab has expertise in long term care, sub-acute, transitional care, home health, and outpatient. We currently provide services at over 30 locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, and Colorado.
This residency is designed for clinicians who value challenge, support, and intentional professional development. Whether you are a new graduate motivated to specialize early or an experienced clinician ready to deepen your geriatric expertise, you will experience robust didactic education, hands-on clinical practice in real-world settings, and individual mentoring from experienced geriatric clinicians and faculty.
