About the Role
In this position, you will serve as a vital member of the care team, evaluating and treating patients with a variety of conditions. Your mission is to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational and speech therapists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive, patient-centered care.
A significant part of your day involves educating patients and their families on diagnosis, prognosis, safety strategies, and home exercise programs to promote recovery and prevent complications. You will monitor patient responses to interventions, reassess regularly, and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes. By adhering to all system policies and engaging in ongoing professional development, you will help drive quality improvement initiatives within our facility.

Requirements
- verifiedCurrent state license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- verifiedGraduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (CAPTE-accredited)
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedEligibility for or possession of national PT licensure by examination (NPTE passed)
Nice to Have
Experience or continuing education in orthopedic, neurologic, or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Membership in APTA or relevant professional associations.
