The Army offers an opportunity for advanced education through the Army-Baylor University Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy (DPT). This entry-level, nationally ranked program is held at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence in Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. The two-phase program provides 18 months of graduate didactic coursework plus a 12-month supervised clinical internship. Upon graduation, you will be awarded a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University and will be eligible to sit for state licensure. Note that this program incurs a 60-month Active Duty Service Obligation (ADSO).
