Media Products Design is seeking a Senior Photographer to create original, compelling visual assets for our media products. This role bridges the gap between conception and flawless execution, requiring a versatile professional who can seamlessly transition between producing and creating. You will plan and manage shoots of varying complexity, often working solo to capture and produce visual assets from start to finish, sometimes on the spot or with little advance notice.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a deep enthusiasm for music, culture, and lifestyle. You will work closely with the Creative Director, art directors, and producers to ideate and develop assets used across all channels and platforms. Success in this fast-paced, constantly changing environment requires the ability to stay calm under pressure, anticipate change, and react efficiently to ambiguity while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
You will be responsible for creating meaningful, timely, and iconic visual assets that cut through the noise and engage specific audiences. Your day may involve shooting portraits, documentary-style reportage, or studio lighting setups, requiring a strong technical understanding of mixed lighting, digital capture equipment, and archiving. Beyond the camera, you will serve as a proficient retoucher, handling skin, clothing, and silo images with speed and precision.
Communication is key to this position. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors, leading projects from concept ideation through production and execution. As an avid consumer of photography, you will stay ahead of trends in editorial, fine art, and commercial work, taking the lead on sharing these insights with the wider photography team. Discretion in handling confidential materials and the ability to work with notable talent in high-pressure situations are essential.
Candidates must submit a portfolio demonstrating expertise in studio lighting portraiture and reportage, showcasing a proven track record of capturing culture-defining content within the music, events, or entertainment landscape.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
