In this role, you will provide direct patient intervention through health and wellness services and experiences that are relevant to the patient, strictly adhering to state and federal laws. Your day will involve supporting company health and wellness initiatives while assisting pharmacists with all responsibilities that do not require professional pharmacist judgment. You will ensure a stellar customer experience by accurately and efficiently managing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing. Additionally, you will play a key role in the continued coaching and training of clerks and technicians, ensuring the entire team operates at the highest standard.
Maintaining trust and safety is paramount. You will be responsible for adhering to HIPAA regulations, maintaining current national and/or state registration or licensure, and complying with all local, state, and federal health code regulations. This includes performing post-fill audits to verify prescription accuracy, completing CLIA-waived screenings, and reinforcing sanitation and safety guidelines. You will also be vigilant in identifying unsafe conditions and reporting any illegal activity, such as robbery, theft, or fraud, to store management.
