About the Role

The Retail Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in the provision of pharmaceutical care under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. This position is designed to assist patients and ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of pharmacy services. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to positively impacting the lives of patients and our communities.

In this role, you will perform essential technical tasks such as filling, compounding, reconstitution, and labeling prescriptions. You will be responsible for accurately entering patient and medication information into our pharmacy computer systems, performing necessary calculations, and identifying patients according to protocol. Your day will involve managing drug and supply inventory, responding to phone inquiries and walk-up service requests, and utilizing department equipment like point-of-sale systems and pill counters. You may also participate in specialized tasks such as facilitating prior authorizations and engaging in quality assurance monitoring and data analysis.
