As a dynamic department, we combine cutting-edge clinical services with state-of-the-art automation and technology, including EPIC for our Electronic Health Record, Pyxis for dispensing, and bedside barcoding across all inpatient areas.
Our mission is to optimize clinical outcomes and patient safety while increasing patient satisfaction and improving the organization's financial sustainability. The team is a collaborative mix of Clinical Specialists, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Interns, all working together to ensure safe medication dispensing, compounding, and distribution. We view our pharmacy technicians as crucial to the success of the entire Pharmacy Enterprise.
This position is part of the InPt Pharmacy Operations at CHA Everett Hospital. You will join a robust internal training program focused on sterile and non-sterile compounding. Your day-to-day impact will involve medication preparation, delivery to patient care areas, inventory management, and triaging calls from clinical teams. You will also manage Pyxis medication station restocking and troubleshooting, as well as inspecting hospital and clinic medication storage areas.
