The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) serves as a vital member of the ICE | PTSL Specialty Pharmacy team. This role is designed to provide safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy under minimal supervision. The specialist will deliver direct, patient-centered care and integrated pharmacy operational services that optimize the patient experience and drive organizational performance.
In this position, you will bring expertise to the department that is not routinely available in general pharmacy staff. Whether through a broad background in specific clinical areas or specialized knowledge in pharmacy management, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a clinical practice that ensures affordable and effective medication therapy. You will act as a liaison between outpatient infusion services and applicable UAMS pharmacies, collaborating daily with other clinical specialists to support complex care transitions and patient outcomes.
