This position is designed for individuals enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school who are ready to bridge academic learning with real-world practice. You will serve as a vital link between patients and our pharmacy team, providing essential customer service while processing and filling prescriptions. Your role extends beyond basic dispensing to include managing inventory, handling third-party functions, and supporting clinical services under the guidance of a pharmacist.
In this role, you will interact with patients both in person and via telephone, assisting them with product selection and obtaining medication prices. You will utilize our pharmacy computer systems for data entry and adjudication, ensuring prescriptions are counted, labeled, and managed accurately at the fill station. Additionally, you will play a key part in inventory management, from updating stock levels to processing vendor charge backs and transfers.
