Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePull and pick medications from shelving and storage areas
- check_circleFill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
- check_circlePre-pack frequently ordered medications and stock supplies as needed
- check_circlePackage materials and products manually
- check_circleMaintain clean and organized workstation areas
- check_circleFollow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
- check_circleAssist in processing returned drugs and dispose of them per procedure
- check_circlePerform accuracy checks on final prescription preparations
- check_circleAlert pharmacists regarding scanning issues with medications
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedPharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations
- verifiedKnowledge of brand name/generic medications
- verifiedAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English

Previous pharmacy experience (one or more years of long-term care experience preferred)
