The Role

As a Pest Control Technician I, you will be responsible for monitoring, implementing, and maintaining rodent control strategies to protect poultry operations. You will work closely with customers to ensure proper pest control measures are in place and compliant with all safety and regulatory standards. Your day will involve setting up and maintaining traps and bait stations, monitoring rodent activity levels, and following standard operating procedures for handling pest control products.

This role requires you to adhere to strict biosecurity and safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment as required, and maintain accurate records of materials used and service history. You will also perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on application equipment, ensuring everything is clean, sanitized, and ready for operation.

Working Conditions

You will work in diverse environments, including confined poultry housing, outdoor sites, and warehouse operations. The role involves exposure to dust, ammonia, chemicals, humidity, and varying weather conditions. It requires regular physical activity, including lifting up to 60 lbs., squatting, twisting, and climbing stairs.
