About the Team
ETCH Transport Company, based in Central Arkansas, partners with FedEx Ground to deliver packages to business and residential customers across West Little Rock, Maumelle, and North Little Rock. We are seeking energetic drivers to join our team just in time for the busy holiday season.
About the Role
The Alternative Vehicle Program (AVP) Delivery Driver is a safety-sensitive position where you will operate your own personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages. This role is ideal for those who enjoy being active and moving throughout the day. You will adhere to assigned routes and strict deadline windows while utilizing tools like iPads for navigation and scanners for tracking.
As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of your vehicle, ensuring it meets all state and federal traffic laws. The position requires lifting and handling packages up to 60 lbs, organizing loads at the terminal, and communicating regularly with management. Success in this role depends on being good-natured, flexible, and adaptable to last-minute changes in schedules or routes.
Hiring Process
We are hiring immediately. Prior package delivery experience is a plus but not necessary. The application process includes a background check, drug screen, and verification of a clean driving record, as required by Act 593 of Arkansas law.
Attention Uber/Lyft drivers: Morning and early afternoon hours are available to accommodate your schedule.
