The successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric urologic care, including office-based procedures and operative care at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital. This position offers a balanced clinical practice with access to academic resources, collegial partners, and strong Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support.
You will join a collaborative team consisting of one pediatric urologist and 1.5 dedicated pediatric advanced practice providers. The role leverages a well-established referral network across the Capital Region and beyond. The department boasts excellent clinical facilities, including an in-office ultrasound, fluoro-urodynamics, cystoscopy, and a laboratory technician, all located immediately adjacent to an outpatient surgery center in the same building.
As an academic physician, you will engage in teaching activities consistent with our highly rated residency program, which features fellowship-trained faculty in every urologic subspecialty and three residents per year. There are multiple opportunities for clinical and basic research, facilitated by three in-house clinical research staff to support the IRB process and research-participant interactions.
