About the Department and Team
The Department of Urology at Albany Medical College is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist to join our growing pediatric surgical team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to practice the full scope of pediatric urology within the region's only Children's Hospital, supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary academic environment.
The Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital serves as the only children's hospital for 80 counties in upstate New York, extending care to families in southwest Vermont and Western Massachusetts. As the centerpiece of medicine, research, and medical education in New York's Capital Region, Albany Medical Center is the area's largest private employer with over 10,000 employees. The hospital is home to the region's largest facility, the only Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma centers, and the only children's hospital in the area.
You will join a collaborative team consisting of one pediatric urologist and 1.5 dedicated pediatric advanced practice providers. The department benefits from an outstanding urology residency program with fellowship-trained faculty in every subspecialty, hosting three residents per year who are highly decorated graduates. The environment fosters regular student interactions, with rotations that are highly rated and valued by learners at all levels.

Requirements
