This role is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice, ensuring that every child receives care that addresses their unique physical, psychological, emotional, and mental well-being in strict accordance with established medical orders and agency policies.
In this position, you will not only assess and evaluate patient needs but also actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to adjust care plans dynamically. Your day involves managing complex clinical skills, maintaining accurate medical records, and serving as a key educator for families and staff on wellness techniques, safety, and emergency procedures. You will also oversee the delegation of tasks to LPNs and CNAs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
PSN operates with a strong commitment to inclusiveness and diversity, recognizing the value of cultural, ethnic, and individual differences in our care settings. The team thrives on cooperation and commitment, working together to deliver positive results even in challenging situations. As a Registered Nurse here, you will be expected to demonstrate tact in handling tense interpersonal situations and maintain a customer-focused approach that anticipates the needs of our clients from their perspective.
Safety is paramount in this multi-disciplinary care setting. You will be responsible for observing client activities to detect potential dangers and ensuring the safety of children during transportation and daily activities. The role requires flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the business, with operations running from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, five days a week.
Candidates must possess a current Wisconsin Nursing License without limitations incompatible with the duties of this position. CPR certification is required at the start of employment or must be completed within 30 days of hire.
