About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join our growing team in Greenville, SC. This role is designed to provide a full range of nephrology services, including all forms of renal replacement therapy and plasmapheresis, while supporting neonatal and pediatric critical care, oncology, and urology programs.

As a member of the Division, you will work collaboratively with three other full-time Pediatric Nephrologists, General Pediatrics, and other Pediatric Subspecialties. The position offers significant opportunities to mentor, teach, and precept medical students and residents, with faculty appointments at the University of South Carolina Greenville School of Medicine (USCGSOM). You will also have the chance to participate in the School's Academy of Educators Program and utilize the Simulation Center.

Your clinical scope will include specialized clinics for Hypertension/ABPM, Stone disease, a Multidisciplinary Fetal Clinic, and a Neuro-Cutaneous Clinic for Tuberous Sclerosis. You will work closely with local pediatric transplant programs to care for recipients and collaborate with the local adult transplant program to help build a new pediatric program in the area. Additionally, you will engage in a growing research program, serving as an active clinical trial site for the Pediatric Nephrology Research Consortium (PNRC) with support from nursing, research administration, and a dedicated research facility.
