Phoenix Children's and the Division of Hospital Medicine are expanding our clinical programs and advancing our academic endeavors. Composed of over 70 faculty across three sites, we nurture a variety of clinical, educational, quality improvement, and research interests. We are seeking committed clinicians, leaders, scholars, and educators to join our dynamic team.
Our Division plays an integral role in medical education, hosting an established, ACGME-accredited 2-year pediatric hospitalist fellowship program with six fellows. Our faculty also hold academic appointments at the University of Arizona, Creighton University, and Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.
Phoenix Children's is dedicated to providing hope, healing, and the best health care for children and their families. We are looking for experienced Hospitalists and fellowship graduates who are board eligible or certified in general pediatrics to help us achieve our mission.
Phoenix Children's - Main Campus A freestanding children's hospital featuring a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive subspecialty care. This site offers extensive opportunities for research, quality improvement, and educational endeavors, serving as the hub for our large pediatric residency program.
Phoenix Children's - Arrowhead Opening in Summer 2024, this freestanding Children's Hospital in the Northwest Valley will feature a 32-bed unit with a PICU and Pediatric Emergency Department. It provides comprehensive subspecialty support and 24/7 in-house coverage by hospitalists and intensive care providers, with teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
Phoenix Children's - East Valley Opening in 2026, this freestanding Women & Children's center in Gilbert will feature a 24-bed unit with a PICU and Pediatric Emergency Department. It offers comprehensive subspecialty support and 24/7 in-house coverage. Newborn care is provided in partnership with Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center (no delivery attendance or NICU coverage required). Teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows are also available.
We are currently recruiting for both standard and nocturnist positions at the Main Campus and our community sites. Nocturnist positions include a shift differential.
