About the Assignment
This pediatric hospitalist position is based at a hospital facility serving a general pediatric ward. You will manage 3 to 10 patients per day, providing comprehensive inpatient care. The role includes Level 1 newborn care for the regular nursery and low-risk newborns, with a monthly volume of 20 to 30 births requiring complication assistance. Please note that this facility does not have a NICU or PICU; higher-level care cases are transferred out.
Schedule & Support
Shifts are scheduled Monday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Multiple coverage blocks are available throughout the year to accommodate your schedule. Weatherby Healthcare provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel, and housing expenses. Assignment details and time entry are managed through an online portal, and you will have 24-hour access to your dedicated Weatherby Healthcare consultant for support.
