District Medical Group Inc. (DMG) is one of the largest multi-specialty practices in Metropolitan Phoenix. As a non-profit organization, DMG is committed to providing clinical services to the underserved population of Maricopa County. The group works in conjunction with Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC), a full-service hospital featuring a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center and a robust network of pediatric care facilities, including a Pediatric ED, NICU, PICU, and a robust FQHC Ambulatory Clinic.
VHMC is a teaching institution hosting nine residency programs, with DMG physicians serving as core faculty. The Pediatric Residency is shared with Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Additionally, DMG and VH are affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix, and Creighton Medical School, Phoenix Campus.
We are seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is ideal for both practicing physicians and newly graduated Fellows. The successful candidate will play a vital part in a collaborative environment dedicated to top-notch pediatric care, managing the full gamut of pediatric GI disorders and performing endoscopic and other procedures.
Beyond clinical duties, this position offers the opportunity to engage in teaching and education within a robust academic framework. Strong communication and team skills are essential as you work alongside colleagues to serve the community.
DMG is open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship (J-1 waiver and/or H1B). Spanish language proficiency is beneficial but not required.
