Phoenix Children's Department of Radiology is a robust group of 31 full-time radiologists organized into specialized sections: Body (14), Neuro (7), Interventional Radiology (6), and Emergency (3). The department fosters a collegial environment where subspecialty expertise in Cardiac, Fetal, MSK, and Nuclear Medicine/PET is highly valued within the Body imaging section. While interventional procedures and neuroimaging are handled by dedicated sections, the Body team collaborates closely on shared fluoroscopy calls.
The department supports a hybrid work model, promoting flexible shifts between onsite and remote work. With full home PACS workstations available, current onsite coverage averages approximately one day per week per radiologist, ensuring a balanced approach to clinical duties and professional flexibility.
