About the Role

We are hiring a Personal Care Assistant in Lompoc to provide essential support services to clients with personal, physical mobility, and therapeutic care needs. In this role, you will be the backbone of a client's daily life, assisting with day-to-day activities, health care tasks, and personal hygiene services. Your day will involve helping clients with transfers and ambulation, performing incidental household services integral to their care plan, and providing meaningful companionship through reading, listening, and conversation.

Beyond direct care, you will assist clients in developing independent skills through self-care activities like toileting and clothing routines. You will serve as a vital link, coordinating services between the home, school, local health agencies, and community resources while effectively communicating with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
