We are hiring a Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support services to clients with personal, physical mobility, and therapeutic care needs. In this role, you will be a vital part of a client's daily life, assisting with day-to-day activities, health care tasks, and personal hygiene services. Your presence will provide not only physical support—such as transfers, ambulation, and self-care routines—but also meaningful companionship through reading, listening, and talking.
You will work to assist clients in developing independent skills while ensuring their health needs are met. This position requires coordinating services between the home, school, local health agencies, and community resources, acting as a bridge between the client and their broader support network. As a key member of the care team, you will report changes in client status and collaborate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and clients to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
