About the Team
The Cardiac Management Solutions division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops life-saving products to protect and manage cardiac patients, including the LifeVest® wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD). Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for both men and women in the U.S. Through this division, ZOLL ensures that patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest receive the therapy they need. To date, the LifeVest® has been worn by hundreds of thousands of patients, saving thousands of lives.
About the Role
We are seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join us as an independent contractor. In this role, you will train patients on the use and care of the LifeVest®. The LifeVest® is a lightweight, easy-to-wear device that provides protection for patients during their changing condition, allowing them to return to their daily activities with peace of mind.
This position is ideal for a health professional with patient care and teaching experience looking to supplement their income. A typical assignment begins when a patient is in the hospital awaiting discharge. As a PSR, you will set up the equipment and train the patient and their caregivers on the device's use and care. You will also follow up with patients as needed to ensure their understanding and satisfaction.
Work Model & Flexibility
As an independent contractor, you retain full flexibility to accept or decline assignments based on your schedule. Most assignments can be scheduled during your free time, such as before or after your primary work, or on your days off. You will travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities to provide services, with assignments potentially occurring during daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements
- verified1 year patient care experience in a paid professional environment

- verifiedValid driver's license and car insurance or valid state ID
Nice to Have
