As a Patient Care Technician, you serve as a vital caregiver during your scheduled shifts, providing patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Your day involves recording vital statistics, administering basic medical treatments, and assisting patients with essential activities such as bathing, grooming, and dining. You will also prepare treatment areas, manage medical equipment, collect non-invasive specimens, and handle necessary clerical documentation. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure the safe and compassionate provision of one-on-one care when needed.
