CAN Community Health is a mission-driven organization dedicated to serving individuals impacted by HIV, Hepatitis C, STIs, and other infectious diseases. Recognized for six consecutive years as one of NPT's Best Non-Profit to Work For, the organization fosters a supportive environment where professional growth and compassionate care intersect. The team is committed to equity, ensuring that every patient receives the resources and advocacy needed to thrive.
As a Patient Access Specialist I, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between patients and the care they need. This position is designed for someone passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of those living with HIV and related conditions. You will serve as a critical liaison between prescribers, patients, pharmacy services, and financial assistance programs to ensure timely and affordable access to treatment.
Your day-to-day impact involves more than just administrative tasks; you will actively promote medication adherence by resolving insurance barriers, guiding patients through prior authorizations, and connecting them with manufacturer copay and patient assistance programs. By identifying and addressing social determinants of health—such as housing instability, transportation issues, or food insecurity—you will help remove obstacles that prevent patients from adhering to their treatment plans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, culturally competent, and driven by a desire to advocate for patient-centered care within the broader healthcare landscape.
Interested candidates should submit their application through the official portal. The selection process includes a review of qualifications, followed by interviews to assess both technical fit and alignment with CAN Community Health's values. Candidates must be prepared to undergo Level I and Level II background checks as required by the organization.
CAN Community Health, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We value the unique perspectives that different backgrounds bring to our team.
