About the Role
ALDI is seeking enthusiastic part-time team members to join our store operations as Cashiers and Stockers. These roles are vital to maintaining smooth daily operations and delivering an excellent shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will provide friendly and efficient checkout service, while as a Stocker, you will ensure shelves are stocked and organized to maximize sales. Both positions require a commitment to customer service principles and operational efficiency.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of tasks tailored to your specific role. Cashiers will utilize point-of-sale systems to process purchases accurately, manage cash policies, and handle curbside pickup orders by retrieving and verifying items for customers. Stockers will focus on merchandising, ensuring displays are neat and aligned with planograms, and may be required to start early to prepare the store for the day. Both roles require the ability to operate various store equipment, including floor scrubbers and pallet jacks, and to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
