About the Role
Self-storage is a fast-paced environment where our employees wear many hats, acting as salespeople, customer service representatives, marketers, and facility managers. As a Relief Manager at our Hermitage location, you will be the face of the facility, greeting everyone with a smile and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
Your day will involve a blend of operational and customer-facing tasks. You will guide customers to the best unit sizes, manage all rental paperwork, and handle daily financial duties including bank deposits and payment tracking. Beyond the office, you will maintain the facility's appearance by cleaning vacant units, ensuring grounds and restrooms are presentable, and managing merchandise. You will also drive growth through monthly marketing efforts, including calls, visits, social media, and local events, while preparing auction units in strict compliance with lien laws.
Training & Development
All USG employees undergo a comprehensive three-phase training program led by Certified Trainers covering sales, operations, and world-class marketing techniques. This foundation is supported by ongoing training throughout the year and an annual Company Meeting to ensure continuous professional development.
